There is an 27 hole course through beautiful Todd Park, located at 11 Street and 21 Avenue NE and 9 holes located in South Driesner Park on Oakland Place SE.

The annual Austin Horseshoe League meeting will be held on May 4 at 7 pm at the Hiawatha Bar. This is a mixed league with handicapped scoring open to men, women, and teens, ages 16 and over. For more information, call Sandy Baker at 507-437-9079. Leagues will play at the 12-court complex located at the corner of 2 Street and 9 Avenue SE, east of Marcusen Ballpark.

Youth Archery League

Youth Archery League will be offered Wednesday evenings from 6:30-8 pm for youth ages 9-18. The league will begin June 8-July 20 at Packer Arena. There will be no league on July 6. The cost is $40. Register early as the class is limited to 12 participants. Equipment is available.

Learn the basic layouts for drawing portrait, figure buildings, animals and any animal, place or thing. We will have classes in downtown Austin (Courthouse, Paramount, Spam Museum, Library, Austin Herald, Tendermaid) meeting at Packer Arena. Materials needed are a 14 inch x 17 inch drawing book with 70 pound weight paper, pink pearl eraser, 1 HB pencil, 1 B pencil 1 2B pencil and a folding chair for classes outside. The classes will be held daily June 13 - July 15 from 10 am to noon and 1 – 3 pm. This class is $40 and for children entering 3rd grade to adults.
