Driving While Intoxicated (DWI) is a serious offense!! Not only may you as an offender get placed in jail for a DWI, but you may also lose your vehicle, lose your driving privileges, and have fines/fees in excess of $100,000.00, or cause a fatal crash!! Many of us know that Minnesota statutes indicate a driver may not be over the legal limit of .10% BAC and operate/control a vehicle on Minnesota roadways. What many of us do not know is that a driver may still be charged for DWI even if the person’s BAC is lower than .10%, based on their particular impairment. So please be safe and have a designated driver at the wheel, or call a local taxi for transportation!! |
