The Human Rights Commission will meet at City Hall in the Bonnie Besse Rietz conference room for a regularly scheduled monthly meeting.
The Park and Rec department will host a public informational meeting about the Emerald Ash Borer at the Austin Public Library in the Large Meeting room, 323 4th Avenue NE.

The Port Authority will meet in City Hall Council Chambers for a regularly scheduled meeting.
The Austin Part Time Fire Fighters Relief Association Trustees will meet at the Fire Station, 122 1st Avenue NE, for a special meeting for a retirement benefit payout and review of investment report.
A groundbreaking ceremony will take place for the I-90 Austin bridges project. This will be located near 631 16th Avenue NW, on the north side of Interstate 90 and west of the 4th Street bridge. Parking will be available on the public street adjacent to public gathering. A quorum of Council may be present. No official city business will be discussed.
The Public Works department will host a public informational meeting about the Sump Pump Inspection program for the NW sector of Austin in City Hall Council Chambers.

Base Salaries of Three Highest Paid Employees
Minnesota state law – Chapter 156 of the Session Laws of 2005 Requires that “a city or county with a population of more than 15,000 must annually notify its residents of the positions and base salaries of its three highest-paid employees.”
For the City of Austin, titles and annual salaries as of January 1, 2024, are:
City Administrator – $166,400
Public Works Director – $161,554
Chief of Police – $152,277
